“When someone shows you who they are . . .

In the words of Maya Angelou: “When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.” Today, Friday, October 30, is the last day for early voting in Texas; Tuesday, November 3, is election day. It’s not complicated: let’s choose the people on the ballot whom we want as exemplars for our children, those whom we trust to decide our children’s and the planet’s future, because that is who they will be and that is what they will do. And they’ve already shown us who they are.
